1932 Olympia Motor Show “R.E.A.L.” bodied MGJ2
DescriptionOne of the rarest MGs ever produced.
The unique 1932 Olympia Motor Show “R.E.A.L.” bodied
The only survivor of the 2 known to have been produced from the ‘R.E.A.L coachworks' in London. (Full documented history accompanies the car of course). A once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire one of the most handsome and rarest MGs ever made. A total nut and bolt restoration by a time served Rolls Royce trained engineer. The very quick engine incorporates a Phoenix fully counter-balanced crank and rods, gas flowed heady forged pistons, new cam and all new cylinder head parts. Close ratio manual gearbox and a long legged rear axle. The rebuilt original bodywork is fastidious. The windscreen itself is a work of art, and the engine turned dash is complete with deluxe gauges and period switch for discreet turn signals in front & rear side lights. The car is finished in MG Saratoga Red with all new deep red leather seats and interior, Wilton carpet, and full weather equipment in double-duck canvas with v. clever fold-away roof irons.
A collectors' dream, or an enthusiasts wish come true?
However, if you ARE over 6ft. tall you best surrender it to the wife now (she will love it, assuming she is shorter!) Below 6ft., no problem. So easy to get in and out, good size luggage space and above all its original.... so a fast appreciating investment. Fully serviced and 'on the button'....
