Kimber Festival 2020

The Kimber Festival brings together enthusiasts who have a keen interest in M.G. history. Organized as an academic conference, the program consists of presentations about all M.G.s with topics that may include design and production, technical discussions, competitors, and competitions. You do not need to be a NEMGTR member to present or attend. All MG enthusiasts are welcome!

Located in downtown Buffalo the museum has an impressive collection of automobiles, bicycles, motorcycles, Pierce-Arrow artifacts, Jello Wagon, Corvette collection, The 1927 Buffalo Filling Station by Frank Lloyd Wright, and much more. There will be time to visit the museum before the activites of the Kimber Festival starts.

Hotel Henry

At the heart of Buffalo’s Urban Resort Neighborhood. Situated on 42 acres within the City of Buffalo’s museum district and cultural corridor, Hotel Henry is surrounded by parks, lakes, museums, and connected to the fun and vibrant Elmwood Village. The Hotel Henry is a new “Urban Resort Conference Centre” in Buffalo housed in a restored Historical building designed by H.H. Richardson on over 100 park like acres of land. The original facility housed the “holistic mental health treatment“ centre for Western New York. The striking central towers and restored wings of the hotel dominate the park. The interior is updated and the rooms are “Five Star” grade with restaurants and meeting rooms to
compliment housing.

(SPECIAL --  same rate for 2 days before and after for those wishing to extend their stay)  Breakfast is on your own for this event.

Rooms will be held at our special rate until March 1, 2020. Please register early as rooms at our rate are limited.

Fred Horner – History of the SU carburetors
Blair Weiss – LEDs and our MG cars
Wally Stubgen – Running the Newfoundland Targa Rally
Tom Lange – Wall of Speed – Aftermarket MG Speed Parts

In addition to the presenters we will be having our Audience “Best Book” Presentation – Tell us about YOUR best automotive book of the year or the best MG
book you’ve read/used. Bring it along and tell us about it!

New for this Kimber Festival

For those who may not be a car nut, a “Ladies” program is offered on Saturday and will include a tour to Frank Lloyd Wright’s fantastic Martin House,  a Private Lunch at a Buffalo club and a visit to the world famous Buffalo Basilica. The activities for this program are $35 per person.
